Shower theme same as wedding?

I am in the process of planning a shower for my soon to be SIL since I am in the wedding party. I was wondering if it was ok to use the same colors for the theme as they are using in the wedding or is that taboo?

There is no etiquette "rule" on using the same colors. In my opinion, it sounds like a nice idea. Very coordinated.
