Please Help! I am very color challenged. It is a September wedding. Bridesmaids dresses are Aubergine, What color flowers would make them 'pop'? I was thinking an orange or coral color (maybe Circus roses), but was told that those colors wouldn't work with the Aubergine. What color would 'pop' with the aubergine?
Thanks for any advice.

Aubergine bridesmaids dresses. What color for flowers?

That is a great background shade...but you won't be popping such a deep rich color. I think the way to view this is to create the stir with the flowers.
I don't agree that coral tones would not work. I think you are on a good track there. Definately blend several flowers and tones and pull up a rich blend. What you should look for are deep shades of corals and oranges with a purple undertone. Sounds weird ,I know, but they are out there!.
Take a look at mango and dark plum calla lilies. Blending them with butterscotch, warm mauve and chocolate along with a few touches of sage green (to lighten things up would) be awesome.
These colors you have to see together to get how great they can look. Be sure you have the exact combinations figured out...Or better yet meticulously explain what you are looking for and put it in the hands of a good floral
designer. This is a great challenge to rise to and you will probably be dazzled.
[]Stay the course and good luck...it will be beautiful!
