Bridal parties' dates?

My boyfriend's best friend is getting married. The wedding is at one place and the reception is an hour away, but probably two hours with the traffic getting into a big city at 6:00 on a Saturday night. The bridal party is in a limo, but what of us dates? Are we supposed to be on our own?

Yes unless the couple has provided alternate transportation you would be on your own. Many times the spouses will get together in a car pool.
