Do we send invitations to photographer and officiant?

I have read several of the posts and am still confused. The photographer and officiant are not invited to stay for the reception. Do I send them invitations? If so how do I make it clear that they are not invited to remain for the dinner after or will that be understood?

If you have not hired these people to provide a service at the reception then they will understand that they are not attending.
