Will red sash on wedding dress coordinate with white and gold decorations?

I have a white wedding dress with a deep red/maroon sash over the front. Will this clash with my bridesmaids dresses if they are wearing gold? Also, I have read articles that says the theme of the wedding should be consistent throughout. Will my red sash clash with the white and gold decor. I wanted the red sash because it compliments my skin colour and will make me stand out against everything else.

Please help!

Red and gold work well together but could look a bit like Christmas or holiday. Consider the time of year and the amount of red and gold used.
