Hi,

Slightly out of control shower, I think. My sister is hostess for her best friend's shower, she's also the MOH. A little background if it's important - BF is getting married after living together for over 10 years and we all thought she'd be rather casual about the event but to all our surprise she's been smitten with it all and is very excited about the whole thing (very cute, we're all very happy for her/them). Also, all these events are about 150 miles away from us. Groom has supplied sis with a list of bride's "friends" and it's at about 50, wedding guest list is about 170. The bride actually has probably about 7 to 10 close friends the rest are relatives, co-workers and such. -

So the questions are:
1) Should this Shower be strictly the "close friends or?
2) Should Sis be expected to foot entire bill? (very modest income).
3) Any and all suggestions appreciated.
