I'd like advice for someone who has broad shoulder and narrow hips, somewhat like a gymnast, 5'6" tall, athletic build. What style wedding dress should we look for that would be flattering. Thank you.

Hello,
May I have more info please? Is this a winter wedding, or summer? Do you have the option to wear a pretty bolero type jacket as an accesory? Is you hair shoulder length or longer? A soft hair style, that is half up and half down with cascading curls is a feminine option with any style gown

The date is not set for sure, but most likely middle of November. Not sure about a jacket, we live in Fl. Hair is straight and long. Thank you for any advice.

Hello,
I have seen beautiful "A- line" style gowns. This is a dress that is slender fitting in the waist and fullest at the bottom. I would try this style gown first, in a silk or satiny fabric to enhance a slim silhouette instead of taffeta or crinoline, which add bulk. Some have a strap that go around the neck, instead of bare shoulders or shoulder straps. This gives the neck and bustline a slender illusion.
Try the hair half up in the front and half down, with cascading curls for a more feminine touch.
Good luck and Congratulations!
Happy Holidays!
