Help! What length veil should I wear with my dress. Our wedding will be semi-formal. I am only 5'2" with a fairly thin/athletic build and oval face. I don't want to hide the back of the wedding dress and I think I want a blusher and a modest tiara. I have attached photos of my dress. Thank you for any help/advice!

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! Your dress is gorgeous, and the choice of a modest tiara is just right: it won't be overwhelming and won't take away from your dress. However, a blusher veil could be a little bit too short for such a gorgeous dress. If you would consider removing your veil after the ceremony and leave only the tiara for reception, you could go for a broader range of veils. I think the "angel cut" veil would show off your athletic built and will make you look elegant and slender in your dress. You can then remove the veil after the ceremony, so your back would not be hidden anymore. Consider all your options and enjoy your wedding!

Thank you so much for your reply. The angel cut looks lovely and a great idea. Would you suggest the point it hangs to in the back be to about mid thigh? I'm concerned with the veil lines interfering with the dress lines. THANK YOU!!!!

Mid-thigh would be just the right length! I won't interfere with the lines of your dress, will look elegant, and when you remove it, you'll be able to show off your dress beautifully. Since your train is so lavishly decorated, the veil of this length will not cover it (as opposed to Cathedral length), so it could be seen even during the ceremony. Enjoy!
