I'm throwing my best friend a bachelorette party in Las Vegas and am wondering how much we should cover.
Its a 3 day event and though the bride dose'nt know where we're going, she knows its a trip.
7 of us are paying for her airfare, hotel and about 150$ in spending money.
Is it better for me to personally keep the money and use it to pay for her food and bevy or to give it to her and let her decide if she'd rather spend it on food during our trip or shopping?
I seem to be reading that for bachelorette parties the guest s must incur ALL costs, but for a three day trip is it too much to give her 150$ (which should cover food) and let her pay any extras if they come up (if food comes to more).
Please note that we are all on pretty modest incomes and a trip is only possible because a few of us are flight attendants and have sweet sweet travel discounts for everyone.

Las Vegas Bachelorette Party - who pays?
#2
Dear Amydy,
It is probably best to just pay for her food and allow her to pay for shopping. Shopping expenses should be her responsibility. In fact, if the bride suggests doing anything that isn't part of your plans, she pays her way.
Best wishes,
