Good Morning!

My sister and future brother-in-law will be having a ceremony with the reception to follow in a reserved room of a restaurant and the guests will be paying.

I understand it is not following the rules of any etiquette, but they and the parents have no money and the guests understand this.

Just want to make it clear without being too incredibly tacky.

Can you please assist me with wording.

Sincerely,

Helpingsis

We cannot help you to word an invitation for an inappropriate event. Sorry.

I completely agree. If they cannot afford their guest's meals, the reception shouldn't be held in a restaurant. It is very simple.
