recreation, play, and gift card theme

Any ideas on a recreation theme bridal shower? I am planning on hosting a gift card/money themed shower and want fun decorations, games, and any other ideas for this.

I am VERY new to this!! but love it!

Asking guests to bring cash or gift certificates isn't appropriate. The idea of the shower is to watch the bride open the gifts. You can make suggestions such as a theme but you should not specify a certain type of gift.

I completely agree. Cash and gift card gifts are an absolute no-no. The shower gift is supposed to be much less expensive than wedding gifts. In fact, the gift-less shower has become very popular these day due to couples not needing as much as in the past.
