hi there... i'm planning on getting married in the next year approximately. i've been planning this wedding on and off for the past three years and keep putting it off because of the money issue. we made up a guest list of about 200 and cut it down to 150. thats family alone. i even cut out the kids so i could get my list shorter. the problem is... my side of the family is rich and my fiancé's family isn't. we cant afford a grand wedding as my family expects. we sitting on a VERY tight budget. we want to have it on a Sunday, hopefully in November, in a church then the reception in a center hall. i want it to be a morning wedding and start the reception around 1 (after the photos) my sister can make my wedding dress so i'm not worried about that too much. however, i am worried about what food i need to serve (again we on a extremely tight budget) and is it ok if i have the reception in a hall during the day> some people said its inappropriate. i don't want dancing so ill save with dj costs. i am also worried about the type of decorations i should use as the hall i am looking at doesnt provide any type of decorations. center pieces, flowers, cake, decorations, food, invitations, thank you gifts.... it all costs so much [:)] its really stressing me out and im worried my side of the family will think im cheap. i really wanted a outside wedding, but that will cost even more. please i beg you, help me
