Hi,
I want my make-up to look natural for my beach wedding next April. I usually wear neutral shades. Can you give me any advice on which eyeshadows, blushers and lipsticks to use which will suit my colouring (medium skin tone, brown hair and eyes) and last through the day?
Thank you.

Wedding make-up for a beach wedding bride
#2
Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! Beach wedding sounds fantastic!
First, you have to be sure that your makeup will survive the outdoor setting and possible heat and humidity. Get yourself the famous "Model in a Bottle" makeup setting spray, and spray your face 3 times after your makeup is finished. Your makeup will be safe for the entire day, until you take it off! Of course, the lipstick has to be re-applied, with all the kissing, eating and drinking Champagne!
THE COLORS: To look natural, but distinct, I recommend neutral shades of makeup, that will still make you look gorgeous without being obvious. I suggest L'Oreal mineral foundation (the one that looks like a powder, but it's a foundation). That will give you the most natural coverage which will look good in natural outdoor light. For colors, I am attaching a few photos of my clients for you to look at. Since I use my own line of products for my clients, I can only refer to the colors that I use.
For a natural look for a brown-hair, brown-eyed bride:
Blush: Tuscany
Eyeshadows: Cin-Tillate
Lipstick: Nymph
Lip Gloss: Naked Bronze
Lip Liner: Aubergine
Eye Liner: Black or Black-Brown (for a softer look).
Always use Cake or Gel eyeliner. Beware of pencils; they will melt outdoors and create a mess around your eyes in a couple of hours!
Mascara: Always Black, any other color would not look natural in a daylight outdoors! Maybelline is your best bet; it will never leave that black dust under your eyes at the end of the day!
And don't forget the Bronzer - just a bit!
Enjoy the wedding!
