Hi. I am the MOB and have a question about the dances at my daughter's reception.

Does the MOB normally join in the dance at some point before the rest of the guests dance? I am divorced and my ex and I both have new partners, but we are still friends. If we want to dance together at our daughter's wedding, when would be the opportunity to do so? It would make me happy as we are both so proud of her [:)]

Thank you very much.

Dear Happy MOB,

The dances are optional and can be personalized. So, if your daughter wishes to include a "parent's dance", which is common, she may. This can begin with both sets and then your significant others could join or you could change partners. It really is something that can be personalized.

Best wishes,

How wonderful for your daughter that her parents can get along so well. Bravo!
