My sister is getting married in June. The rehearsal dinner is at a sort of fancy hotel, but I believe they're serving something simple like sub sandwiches. My other sister and I are bridesmaids and we have no idea how to dress for the dinner- fancy because its a fancy hotel? or informal because it's just a sandwich affair? We really don't want to go the wrong way, because our sister is the ultimate bridezilla and wearing the wrong thing would "ruin the whole wedding"

If you sister is, in fact "the ultimate bridzilla" the only correcct approach to this situation is to ask her what you should wear. Really, no one else's opinion will matter. Good luck!
