Can father of the bride see the bride's wedding dress before the wedding day?

The old superstition is that the groom should not see the bride's dress before the wedding day. If you believe in luck or superstition...

Personally, I don't, but it is a nice surprise for the men to see the completed bride on the wedding day. Just my opinion.
