Junior Bridesmaid/Flower Girl Financial Responsibility

Besides paying for the dress, is a Junior Bridesmaid or Flower Girl expected to contribute financially to the Bridal Shower? My niece is getting married and is having 2 Junior Bridesmaids, 1 will be almost 10 and the other will be 7 1/2. The Flower Girls will be ages 2 1/2 and 1 1/2. Please let me know the proper etiquette, financially. Thank you

Dear Webejones,

None of the bridesmaids are obligated to contribute to any bridal shower. But, if the rest decide to host one, it is still optional for the younger attendants, and most often isn't expected.
