Please help! We have a unique situation (I already searched EVERYWHERE to find a similar one).
Here is our situation...
Our wedding and rehearsal are 2 hours away from where a particular groomsmen and his wife live.
The are both coming to the rehearsal dinner, which is the night before the wedding. After rehearsal, all the groomsmen will be staying at one of the groomsman's home in town for a sort of "mini" bachelor party (basically just all the guys hanging out, nothing wild and crazy). But, since she is also coming to the rehearsal, but obviously cannot go to the bachelor party, are we responsible for getting her a hotel room (keeping in mind her home is a 2 hour drive)?
I don't think that we should be responsible, as SHE is not in the wedding party, just her husband, who is covered for the night with the other groomsmen. However, my fiance is thinking we are responsible for getting her a private room. There is no one else for her to stay with in the area, so couch crashes, etc. are not an option.
Please help! We are paying for the wedding ourselves, so a $102 per night room (that includes the room block discount) is really a lot of money to us.

Do we pay for Groomsmen's Wife's Hotel Room?

Dear Sarahgel,
You aren't obligated to pay for her hotel on the night of the rehearsal. But, you are obligated to pay for their lodging the night of the wedding if they need to stay overnight after the wedding. If your wedding is early in the day, then they would be able to drive home.
Best wishes,
