Hello,
I was wondering is it tradition for the bridesmaids to all pitch in and purchase the bride a gift for her wedding? I was told we should. I've purchased numerous gifts already for the various parties we are throwing her. Is that enough? What are your thoughts?

Hello there, yes, many times the attendants get together and give one larger gift but it is not mandatory. As far as gifts go a shower and a wedding gift (or contributing to a group gift) are all that you actually would be expected to give even if you went to all parties.

I agree. A group gift is just fine. You really shouldn't have had to contribute to or give more than two gifts.

These gifts don't have to be expensive either. It is costly to be an attendant in a wedding.
