We are looking at different gifts for those being apart of our wedding. I work in retail and as a different idea. I came up with the idea of getting my best man and three groomsmen a pair of Nike Shox athletic shoes. None of them have ever had a pair and I love them. My question is, though, what is a good amount to spend on them? I believe the best man should get a little more since he is doing more. Is this true?

Hello Shoxwave, you know your groomsmen best and know whether this would be something they would enjoy and appreciate. I can't remember ever having a groom provide shoes as a gift but you make it more personal when you truly give them the thing you think they would love. Most grooms also provide something a bit extra for the best man. Best wishes.

As long as you feel this would be a gift they'd appreciate, it's fine to give shoes. Personally, I think it can be a great gift.

There is no perfect dollar amount to spend. It is a personal decision.

Thank you both for your help. My groomsmen and I are close and as to this gift being different. They will sometimes ask me for deals on shoes, so this will be a change, but they will love it cause I picked them out for them. Thanks again
