Hi everyone, thank for taking time to read this. I want our wedding favors to be different from the ordinary candy covered Italian almonds. What do you guys think of candy and Indian corn candies in tulle bags or little favor boxes. We're going with the autumn theme (leaves and pumpkins) so I figured it was keeping with the theme of the season. Our wedding is next October. And no, I'm not buying candy yet. Just planning.

Thanks everyone.

Anything edible is usually a hit with guests; cookies, candies, etc. M&M's makes personalized candies in any color of your choice so that could be a fun candy for you.

A yummy fall themed wedding favor (IMO) is a chocolate covered apple (or candy/caramel apple) wrapped in cellophane and tied with coordinating ribbon.

Here are a bunch of fall themed wedding items to scan through. Might get your creative juices flowing.

Edible IS the way to go, but if you are going to go with a more simple candy, one that people see everyday, try to think of a more creative way to display the candies. Possibly, each seat could have a small pumpkin carved out and filled with the candy. There are so many ideas for fall, as listed above, but if your heart is set on the candies, go for it, just make it creative.

Oh, the carved out mini-pumpkin is a great idea, but make sure you line it with something otherwise you'll have a mess. I've seen this idea using candles. It's really cute.

I'm planning the rehearsal dinner for my son's wedding this October and my daughter and I are making little favors for it. They will be small tree saplings wrapped in burlap and tied with a little brown silk bow. We'll attach a favor tag cut out in the shape of a leaf that has their names, wedding date and "Grown with us." printed on them.

All such great ideas, and all very focused on what guests would appreciate--very postive.

Yes thank you all guys for the great ideas. We are using the carved out pumpkin idea already for our tea light candles and the carmel apples idea most of our guest are older so i think that may be a bit hard lol. But my mom and i talked and she said the corn things was cheap unless its just gonna be on the table so were gonna make homemade choclates either of bride and grooms or leaves . Should be nice thanks again everyone Its nice to have people that did this before to bounce ideas off of . THAT WILL GIVE THE TRUTH lol
