appropriate dress color for wedding guest

Hi!! I have this dress and was just wondering if the color is appropriate for a wedding guest? Its a beige/tan color lace dress. The wedding is an outdoor afternoon summer wedding and I thought this dress would be cute but casual but elegant. However, Im afraid the color might be similar to ivory. I put it against a white dress and theres an obvious difference but still wanted to get an wedding experts advice before I do an obvious no no. Thanks.
