Hi, attached is the dress i would want to wear on MY wedding day this November. It will be held inside the steamboat restaurant, ( the 15minutes ceremony, and reception followed immediately) from 11am-3pm. Please tell me if this would be okay or you find it too simple for me. I would want to wear it as well during the reception. A very simple one only, with my friends since, I'm here in Singapore and my family can't come. If the attire would be okay, what shoes shall i wear?
Im not so good at this.. I really need your advice. Thank you and more power.

Simple dress for fall wedding in Singapore

There is no such thing as a dress too simple for your wedding. If the dress is your style, you love it and is flattering there is no reason you should not be wearing it. I would suggest dressing up your look for the reception with a statement necklace and crystal/floral sash. As far as shoes go a strappy sandal or peep toe pump would look great with this style of dress.

No one's dress has to be a big puff style gown. If you feel comfortable in that dress then wear it. I think it will look great for the wedding. You can add a bag and shoes and with some nice flowers you will look stunning. Are you going to wear anything in your hair? The whole look will pull together that way. I think a bird cage veil will look adorable with your dress in the sunshine. Singapore is quite humid so i think your choice of dress is ideal.
Wishing you all the best for your wedding day!

I don't think the dress is too simple, especially because the wedding seems to be quite intimate affair. You could always add to the wow factor by the way you accessorise it. Perhaps you could add a brooch or corsage to jazz it up a bit or perhaps a beautiful shawl or pashmina with a bit of embellishment. The jewellery and shoes you wear could also change it from simple to chic!
The most important thing is to hold on to the thought that you are getting married to the love of your life and enjoy every moment of the ceremony.Good luck!

I agree with everyone else's posts as well. It's simple chic and you can also dress it up with accessories. How about a nice colored shoe to give the outfit a pop of color. Maybe a blue peeptoe, for your "something blue." Best of luck at your wedding. I'm sure you'll make a beautiful bride!!
