I have found a beautiful wedding dress that I really like, but unfortunately it's strapless. I don't really like strapless dresses because they make me feel exposed. (Especially since my chest is rather small and I feel like the dress will fall off.) Is there anything I can do, like add straps to it, that won't take away from the look of the dress? (The dress is Alfred Angelo, style 1925 - there's a picture of it on their website.) Or are there any tricks to make sure the dress doesn't fall off?
Thanks for your help, I really appreciate it.

Dear afraid of strapless,
Ask at your bridal salon, I'm sure they will tell you about the invisible straps that hold the dress up and are clear. This will help with the problem of worrying about it falling down, however, you may still feel over exposed.

Monica,
Definitely speak with the bridal salon, usually strapless dresses have matching detatchable straps that come with the dress. Or they might be able to make them for you. And if you decide to keep it strapless, once they make the alterations the dress will fit like a glove. You would be surprised on how secure and held in they will make the dress for you. Don't worry, it won't make you feel like you are going to fall out. As for feeling exposed in strapless, a way to get around that could be your hairstyle. If you wear you hair all up, your shoulders will be completely exposed. But if you wear you hair hair half up, or all down, that might make you feel more comfortable a little more covered up. Wearing some or all of your hair down would look really soft and romantic. I'm sure whatever you do, you will look stunning.
Good luck,
