Hi I'm getting married on July 1, haven't been able to resolve my hair styling dilemma & am hoping you can help!![shocked]
I have a round face and need to wear my hair in an up-do (will be wearing two gowns - 1 traditional and the other traditional mandarin).
The hard part is that I need: [ul] [li]something that is low (high up-do's tend to make me look "old") [li]something that will cover my ears (big and stick out) [li]something that holds in place b/c i have hairs in the front that tend to come down as the day goes on and (last but most importantly) [li]something that isn't completely flat to my head - b/c my hair is so straight (i am asian) it's very hard to style with curls etc... AND when it's pulled back (in a tight/slick way) it makes my face look even rounder AND my ears really stand out.[/li][/ul]Your style and hair product suggestions are GREATLY appreciated!! Also if there are any stylists who see this and are good with styling asian hair (and are in NYC area) I'd love to hear from you!!!!

Hello Bride-to-be,
Since you want your hair back and low, you can pretty much do anything. You can have the hair gathered in a flower/pretzel shape in the back, a chignon, a low poney tail, there are endless possibilities. We would just make sure that your hair is pulled back loose and soft. This way it isn't too servere that would make your face look round and it will gentlely go over and cover your ears. We can also add a hair piece to help create the look you desire.
Looking forward to hearing from you,
