what type of band goes with a past present future engagement ring?

I have a white gold, princess cut, past present future ring as an engagement ring. We are looking for a band that looks "right". I've tried on a plain band and something just seems off. I also tried a band with diamonds and it doesn't look as they belong together. Can you recommend a style of band that will compliment my ring?

Hi,
In this case you really have 2 options:
(1) Go back to the place you bought the ring from, if it was a recent purchase or the store is still selling this type of item, and see if they have a matching band. I'm assuming this is not an option for you however.
(2) I would try a local goldsmith or custom jeweler who can take a mold of your ring and create a custom band to fit up against it perfectly. This isn't the cheapest method, but it is the only method to ensure that you will have a perfect fit.
If your engagement ring wasn't purchased as a set, it will be hard to find a band that fits just right otherwise, especially on a three stone ring.
