I am in the hunt for an engagement ring but not sure on the enhancers/wraps. I dont know the exact meaning the enhancers and the wraps, or when to buy them. My girlfriend wants a wrap w/her engagement, and a wedding band I was told by one jewelry store that an enhancer is to be put on after you have gotten married, another told me that you would buy a wrap or enhancer for a 1yr anniversery gift. Can you please tell me the actual meaning of them and when do they come into the picture. Thank you

So am I. I'm confused about why people need all of this. Sorry. But, it is just another way to get people to spend more money on rings. The wrap or guard looks just like the wedding ring when it is a set. The wrap connects to the engagement ring. I did a very quick search on Google and the first site had a number of pictures.

There is no etiquette involved here. This is not a 'must' or a 'should have'. This is just another want. It is your choice to buy it now, later, or never.
